![]() | The Sunalta Station is an elevated station (above ground), located on the south side of the CP Rail line. Calgary Transit patrons will access the station from 10th Avenue at 16th Street S.W. or via a pedestrian bridge on the north side of the station. It will open for revenue service in December 2012. This station is a walk-on station, which means there will not be a Park and Ride location nearby. Calgary Transit patrons will arrive at the station by Calgary Transit bus, walking, cycling or by private vehicles. It will primarily serve the communities of Sunalta and Scarboro. Highlights of the Sunalta Station area include the plaza area, a mezzanine level that can connect to future development, a bridge connection to the Greyhound Bus Station and the Sunalta Area Redevelopment Plan.
