Station Area
Located just east of the intersection of 17 Avenue S.W. and Sirocco Drive/Costello Boulevard, this at-grade station will primarily serve the residents of Signature Park, Christie Park, Signal Hill, and Strathcona Park. Calgary Transit patrons can access the station from the north side of 17 Avenue S.W.

Design
Design elements of the station include a steel structure frame, copper roof, laminated douglas fir-larch wood beams, and glass panels. The station walls and roof form an elliptical shape that has been lifted by 12.5 degrees so that the south face of the station lifts towards the sun, maxmizing sunlight.

Surrounding Area
The area surrounding the station will feature a 2.5-metre-wide multi-use pathway for pedestrians and cyclists, patterned pedestrian crossings, a bus terminal, a designated drop-off area and handicapped parking.

Sirocco Station also features an 450-vehicle Park and Ride area in order to accommodate Transit users not directly serviced by feeder bus routes.

The station is directly adjacent to West Market Square, which includes commercial, grocery, restaurant and professional services.
