Construction is Complete! 

The reconfigurations to the six holes are complete. Sand is in the bunkers, the cart path is paved, the sod laid and all the planting materials are taking root. All 27 holes will re-open for the 2010 season. 

To accommodate construction of the West LRT line and the widening of Bow Trail, Shaganappi Point Golf Course was partially reconfigured over the spring and summer of 2009.

The West LRT Office and The City's Recreation managed the project with the support of a golf course architect. The new design reconfigures the impacted golf holes to maintain playability and the overall character of the course. This work ensures the widening of Bow Trail and the construction of the West LRT will have as little impact as possible on Shaganappi Point Golf Course, its customers and the adjacent residents. Reconfiguration and construction costs are covered under the West LRT budget.
