West LRT Bus Route Planning - Public Information Sessions

Calgary Transit hosted four open houses through June 2011 in the communities of Strathcona, Glenbrook, South Calgary and Lakeview to present and gather feedback on the proposed bus route plans to serve Southwest Calgary when the West LRT opens.

You can download the presentation display boards below for more information on the material that was available to the public:

This map represents Calgary Transit's bus routes, which will be in service after the West LRT is  open, scheduled for in spring 2013. If a bus route is not represented on the map, it will not exist after opening day.

CLOSED - 69 Street S.W. Park and Ride/Bus Terminal

Until the West LRT opens for revenue service, the 69 Street S.W. Park and Ride and bus terminal is closed to accommodate West LRT construction.

During this time, Calgary Transit is operating the recently expanded Sirocco Park and Ride, which includes a temporary bus terminal. It can be accessed from Sirocco Drive. The new Sirocco Station Park and Ride expanded to accommodate West LRT ridership.

For more information on Calgary Transit route changes resulting from the 69 Street Terminal closure, visit the West LRT Service Changes Summary at www.calgarytransit.com.
